From time to time we come across a number of USA imported Chris Craft motorboats, from the 1930's to 1950's. Whereas they are have declined in popularity as the are not often used on inshore waters and there are many other choices if you want to ski boat these days. However, for the enthusiast who likes the idea of owning a classic boat that has all the hallmarks of a classic car. They represent great value for money to own a true classic. This example is one of the barrel back special runabouts built in 1937 but restored to a very nice standard both woodwork and a very clean engine.
