Cornish Shrimper 19 Mk1
SOLD
One of the most popular go anywhere trailer sailers.
Very versatile and affordable classic designed yacht.
We love trailer sailers for being one of the most affordable ways of cruising when and where you like to explore Britain's amazing coast line and trips over to Europe.
We first fell in love with them 20 years ago seeing the red sails in the sunshine of a Shrimper fleet, racing off Treaddur Bay in Anglesey.

Cornish Shrimpers are very popular for a good reason,  with over 1100 of these built since 1979 they have stayed the test of time. There is an active owners association. There are also regular sailing regattas throughout the year. Great construction quality from Cornish Crabbers. They combine modern easy to care for construction materials. The boats are made with a rainbow selection of hull colours are available. Our one though is a very nice black hull. The Shrimper is a perfect pocket sized cruiser and has stand out good looks of the more traditional design.  The latter point vindicated by inclusion in Classic Boats list of Spirit of Tradition yachts.

When you consider a new Shrimper can set you back as much as £35,000 a well cared for second hand boat like this one presents really excellent value.

Tiarri V is in very good condition, and comes complete with combi-trailer that includes a lunch troller for easy launching. The trolley means you never have to dip the road trailer in the briny. Another big plus is the inboard Yanmar 10HP diesel engine which is in good working order. The inboard engine version are more sought after for serious cruising than the outboard version. The Mk1 has the larger cockpit than the Mark II and also room to stow an inflatable dinghy under the duck boards.
